Yes SEO is a fast, honest SEO checker for small business owners, bloggers and agencies. We built it because most SEO tools are either slow, overwhelming or hide the useful part behind a signup.
What we believe
- Speed matters. You should see results in seconds, not wait in a queue. Our crawler is purpose-built and lightweight.
- Fixes beat scores. A number on its own doesn’t help anyone. Every finding comes with why it matters and exactly how to fix it.
- Free should mean free. Every check and explanation is available without an account or e-mail address.
- Honesty over hype. No tool can guarantee rankings. We tell you what we can measure, what we can’t, and what to do about it.
- Privacy by default. We read public pages only, hash IP addresses instead of storing them, and delete anonymous reports automatically.
How the SEO checker works
When you enter a URL, our server fetches the page the way a search engine crawler would, follows any redirects, and records the response: status code, timing, compression and size. It then parses the HTML to extract the title, meta tags, headings, links, images, canonical, robots directives and structured data. It reads your robots.txt and looks for an XML sitemap, and it requests the links on the page to find broken ones.
More than 25 checks are then scored by their real-world impact. Indexing blockers carry the most weight; small polish items carry little. The result is a 0–100 score and a fix list sorted so your first hour of work does the most good. On paid plans the same engine crawls whole sites, compares pages with each other and re-checks them every week.
About our crawler
Our crawler identifies itself with the user agent Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; YesSEOBot/1.0; +https://yes-seo.com/about#crawler). It only fetches pages that someone asked us to check, makes a small number of requests at a time, waits between batches during whole-site crawls and honors robots.txt rules for its own name and for all crawlers. It never submits forms, never logs in and never changes anything on your site.
If you want to block it, add this to your robots.txt:

For security, the crawler refuses to connect to private, local or reserved network addresses.

Agencies and freelancers use whole-site audits, weekly monitoring and white-label PDF reports to win and keep clients.
How we make money
Free checks are supported by a small number of clearly labeled ads that never appear between you and the tool. Paid plans remove ads and add whole-site crawls, monitoring and reports. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We never sell the URLs people check or any personal data.
